Vance Johnson is the local farmer at our demonstration site and he is collecting the economic data behind each treatment. We decided to treat each plot as it's own field so there will be six different plots with economic data for a year to year comparison. Vance writes down what implement was used, how many passes, what product and when it was applied. To put a consistent value on each of these implements Vance uses the NDSU 2020 custom rate chart. At the end of each year, he puts these numbers on a spreadsheet and shares them on the website and at the field day in July. They are also available at the Wilkin SWCD office upon request.
