Ladies Night 2026

“Water for the Next Generation” was the theme for this year’s Ladies Night. Ladies were invited to wear their favorite shade of blue to celebrate this year’s theme.

Ladies Night was started in 1996, in an effort to educate women in Wilkin and Richland counties about conservation programs and services available through the districts with hopes that they would become more involved in conserving their land. Ladies Night has evolved to include all women, urban and rural in its program.

Robbie Daniels, was our Mistress of Ceremonies and did a wonderful job keeping everyone engaged throughout the evening.

Our conservation education was presented by Gary Goreham, Maple Hills Orchard, who gave a presentation on sustainable farming and water for the next seven generations!

The night’s entertainment, “The Looney Lutherans”, a spirited trio of “wacky gals”, had the audience giggling with a blend of music, and tips for living a long and lively life “Lutheran Style”.

Raffle prizes, 50/50 Scratch Off, and a Game of Chance $300 raffle helped defray the costs of the program, as well as, the donations made by local businesses. A $100 donation was made to the FFA students.

The raffle baskets were two spruce trees, coffee basket, garden basket, Tastefully Simple basket, and a custom eye glass case with a bottle of wine.
