Highway Department

The Wilkin County Highway Department is directly responsible for the construction and maintenance of county highways and bridges. The department also provides necessary assistance to townships and cities within the county. The inspection and maintenance of the county ditch system is also a function of the Highway Department.

The highway office and main shop are located at Hwy 75 & 8th Street South in Breckenridge.  There are four outlying shops within the county located in Campbell, Lawndale, Rothsay, and Wolverton.
